Openal Windows 10

OpenAL Soft is an LGPL-licensed, cross-platform, software implementation of the OpenAL 3D audio API. It's forked from the open-sourced Windows version available originally from openal.org's SVN repository (now defunct). OpenAL provides capabilities for playing audio in a virtual 3D environment. I am using Windows 10 Professional, 64-bit. A few weeks ago, the IT person in my office installed a new video card on our PC (AMD ATI Radeon HD 5450). Since then, I have seen OpenAL in the program list. Neither I, nor wife, play games on our PC. Is it safe to uninstall OpenAL? Sep 24, 2019  For the past few days, I have been trying to start a program called rpcs3 for a game that I recently purchased. However, when I clicked on the app it says 'The program can't start because OpenAL32.dll is missing from your computer.Try reinstalling the program to fix this program.' I been online searching for solutions and even tried all the websites that were recommended by Microsoft but.

I first had a Windows 7 Professional with:
- A Intel Core 2 Duo (TM) .
- CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHZ.
- RAM: 2GB.
- A 64-bit operating system, x64 based processor.
- It was also on a Personal Computer, not a laptop.
- The company who manufactured it is RealTek with association of LG. I do not see it on their website and the website does not show the phone number.
Then, I upgraded my Win7 Professional to a Win10 (Windows 10) Professional
and my drivers are gone, especially OpenGL, which I really need to play 3D games! Please Help!

Windows 7 Forums is the largest help and support community, providing friendly help and advice for Microsoft Windows 7 Computers such as Dell, HP, Acer, Asus or a custom build. By accident, I found out that OpenAL (no other details given) is on the list of installed programs on my Win7 64bit machine. It runs using the OpenAL audio engine. All was good until I upgraded to windows 10. Now my program consistantly crashes after 6 minutes of running. I narrowed this down to OpenAL (I compiled a version with no audio output, that didn't crash). My question is, has anyone else had issues with any app or program using OpenAL on Win10 like this?
