I have a PDF with a table on contents where each line is it's own text box object. I want to align these objects with each other but I can't find a way to do this. There is no 'align' command and I can't edit the X-Y location properties of the object.
The only method that I found was to put a guideline on the page and manually drag objects around to get them to line up. This is both a terrible waste of time and doesn't work right.
When I search for help, everything relates back to Acrobat 10 which is no use to me. For some stupid reason, the adobe help documents are only written for Acrobat X.

If you are using Adobe Reader then there has to be a 'check box' form field present on the PDF file. If there is no check box form field then Reader cannot create it/them. To view each PDF you open in a different application window instead of a new tab, clear the Open documents as new tabs in the same window (requires restart) checkbox under Edit Preferences General. Then restart Acrobat.

Use the 'select object' tool (the icon/button looks like a regular black mouse pointer) and select all of the text boxes. Right click on the selected text boxes and you should see an 'align' sub menu in the context menu.

how can i set value for checkbox in pdf form in Adobe Acrobat?
I have russian localization of Acrobat XI, and i figured out that this works:
this.getField('checkboxID').value = 'Да'.
(Word in quotation marks is Yes in russian language).
As i have googled people say i must put value 'On'.
but in russian locale it doen't accept On. If i try place anything except russian word yes ('Да') it clears checkbox.
My customers can have russian and english localiztion of acrobat.So if i use russian word yes, it will work in russian version of adobe, but i suppose it will not work in english version.How can i set checkbot in any language?

You actually have several possibilities:
a) You check that field, then open the Console and let you display the value of the field with this line of code:
To check this particular box, you would then use that return value (to uncheck, you would set its value to 'Off'). (note: 'unchecked' is always the value 'Off', and can be used generally; this opposed to no generally used value for 'checked').
b) you have a look at the checkThisBox() method in the Acrobat Javascript documentation. This method counts the widgets of the field (the individual boxes) in their order of creation, and allows you to check and uncheck a particular widget. It is not dependent on the value of the box, and therefore also not dependent on any localization issues.
